Paul is the owner and a licensed physical therapist with Specialized Physical Therapy, LLC. He is graduate of the University of Sciences in Philadelphia (USIP) and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) where he earned his doctorate in physical therapy. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He earned his manual therapy certification and has received extensive training with one of the world’s most respected manual physical therapist, Dr. Stanley Paris. For the first ten years of his career, Paul specialized in vestibular rehabilitation at the Mercy Hearing and Balance Center located at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in the greater Philadelphia area. He earned his Herdman certificate of achievement in vestibular rehabilitation through Emory University School of Medicine.
Paul specializes in manual physical therapy examination and treatment of spinal disorders (eg: low back pain, herniated disc, facet joint dysfunction, sacroiliac joint dysfunction) and in vestibular rehabilitation, treating patients with inner-ear related disorders (eg: benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis/labrynthitis). Paul also treats patients who have sustained a concussion with post-concussion rehabilitation. Paul is a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT and Concussion Health.
Paul serves as a guest lecturer to several Philadelphia area Physical Therapy programs teaching general orthopedics, manual physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and medical screening. Paul has published several peer-review articles on the topic of dizziness and often presents at state and national conferences. Paul is a former President of the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey
Sona is the Clinical Director of our Cherry Hill office. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2015 with Suma Cum Laude Honors. She received her Bachelors in Health Sciences with a concentrated minor in Exercise Science and Wellness Management in 2012. Prior to starting her career in outpatient physical therapy at Specialized Physical Therapy, Sona had over one year of experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities in New Jersey and HomeCare in Texas. She is certified in concussion rehabilitation through ImPACT and is an active member of American Physical Therapy Association. Sona practices evidence based physical therapy on all ages and systems ranging from orthopedic, vestibular, concussion management, to geriatrics and injuries. Indian- born American, Sona is also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. Being a dedicated and well-rounded Physical Therapist, she enjoys providing quality care to her patients with full passion.
Alyssa is the Clinical Director of our Burlington office. She graduated from Quinnipiac University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. She has completed clinical affiliations in both the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings, where she has gained experience treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions across the lifespan and varying functional levels. Alyssa employs a multifaceted approach in treatment to assist in return to a healthy and active lifestyle and to meet individualized goals. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Alyssa is dedicated to evidence-based practice and providing quality, patient-centered care. Alyssa is a certified LSVT BIG clinician, enabling her to provide high quality, focused, and intensive treatment to patients with all stages of Parkinson’s Disease. Alyssa is also a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT.
Nosheen is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Nosheen is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics and a credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She has relocated to Cherry Hill from Southern California with over 10 years of experience in orthopaedic injuries including neck, back, upper extremity, and lower extremity. Nosheen has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation, balance disorders, and post-concussion rehabilitation. Nosheen is a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT. She is also certified in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion through The American Institute of Balance. Nosheen is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all patients and aspires to develop wellness programs for the community.
Stephanie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She is also a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Her passion for physical therapy began with her involvement in gymnastics. With the help of her physical therapists, she was able to become a USAG Level 10 gymnast and compete as a member of Temple University’s D1 Women’s gymnastics team. With 18 years of gymnastics experience, it is safe to say Stephanie has an interest in treating an athletic population, especially gymnasts and CrossFitters. However, through her clinicals and past work experiences in both outpatient and inpatient facilities, she is equipped to treat a variety of patient diagnoses. Her current career goals are to become certified in vestibular therapy as well as obtain her Clinical Excellence Certification from the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
Kathleen is a licensed physical therapist assistant with Specialized Physical Therapy. She graduated with an Associates of Science Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her special interests include vestibular rehabilitation, post concussion rehabilitation, and treatment of shoulder disorders. She has completed coursework in evidence based treatment of vestibular and balance disorders, post concussion rehabilitation, orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders of the spine and shoulder joint. Kathleen has worked in a variety of clinical settings including oncology, acute care, sub acute rehabilitation, geriatrics, and in outpatient settings working with orthopedic, vestibular, balance, and post concussion populations. She greatly enjoys working in a private outpatient setting, seeing a variety of patients of all ages. Kathleen works closely with the physical therapists in providing high quality care to all our patients. Kathleen is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey.
