Paul is the owner and a licensed physical therapist with Specialized Physical Therapy, LLC. He is graduate of the University of Sciences in Philadelphia (USIP) and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) where he earned his doctorate in physical therapy. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He earned his manual therapy certification and has received extensive training with one of the world’s most respected manual physical therapist, Dr. Stanley Paris. For the first ten years of his career, Paul specialized in vestibular rehabilitation at the Mercy Hearing and Balance Center located at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in the greater Philadelphia area. He earned his Herdman certificate of achievement in vestibular rehabilitation through Emory University School of Medicine.
Paul specializes in manual physical therapy examination and treatment of spinal disorders (eg: low back pain, herniated disc, facet joint dysfunction, sacroiliac joint dysfunction) and in vestibular rehabilitation, treating patients with inner-ear related disorders (eg: benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis/labrynthitis). Paul also treats patients who have sustained a concussion with post-concussion rehabilitation. Paul is a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT and Concussion Health.
Paul serves as a guest lecturer to several Philadelphia area Physical Therapy programs teaching general orthopedics, manual physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and medical screening. Paul has published several peer-review articles on the topic of dizziness and often presents at state and national conferences. Paul is a former President of the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey
Nosheen is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Nosheen is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics and a credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She has relocated to Cherry Hill from Southern California with over 10 years of experience in orthopaedic injuries including neck, back, upper extremity, and lower extremity. Nosheen has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation, balance disorders, and post-concussion rehabilitation. Nosheen is a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT. She is also certified in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion through The American Institute of Balance. Nosheen is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all patients and aspires to develop wellness programs for the community.
Alyssa is the Clinical Director of our Burlington office. She graduated from Quinnipiac University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. She has completed clinical affiliations in both the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings, where she has gained experience treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions across the lifespan and varying functional levels. Alyssa employs a multifaceted approach in treatment to assist in return to a healthy and active lifestyle and to meet individualized goals. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Alyssa is dedicated to evidence-based practice and providing quality, patient-centered care. Alyssa is a certified LSVT BIG clinician, enabling her to provide high quality, focused, and intensive treatment to patients with all stages of Parkinson’s Disease. Alyssa is also a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT.
Allison received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of the Sciences in 2022. Allison is a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT. Her past clinical affiliations include work in the orthopedic and outpatient sport settings treating a variety of higher level athletes in sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer and swimming. Special interests include treating shoulders, knees and ankles. Allison is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients by positively impacting their life.
Natalia graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. Her past clinical affiliations included a variety of settings which provided her with a wealth of experience working with patients of all ages and diagnoses such as balance dysfunction and various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Natalia has worked with individuals with Parkinson's disease both within the clinic and as a volunteer for Rock Steady Boxing. Both of these experiences motivated her to become certified in LSVT BIG, a treatment approach created specifically for individuals with Parkinson's disease. Natalia is also a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT. Natalia aims to utilize a holistic treatment approach with her patients to help them enhance their overall quality of life. Beyond her expertise in the field of physical therapy, Natalia is also fluent in Polish, loves to reference The Office, and enjoys finding new hiking trails to explore.
Stephanie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She is also a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Her passion for physical therapy began with her involvement in gymnastics. With the help of her physical therapists, she was able to become a USAG Level 10 gymnast and compete as a member of Temple University’s D1 Women’s gymnastics team. With 18 years of gymnastics experience, it is safe to say Stephanie has an interest in treating an athletic population, especially gymnasts and CrossFitters. However, through her clinicals and past work experiences in both outpatient and inpatient facilities, she is equipped to treat a variety of patient diagnoses. Stephanie is also a certified concussion health provider through ImPACT. Her current career goals are to become certified in vestibular therapy as well as obtain her Clinical Excellence Certification from the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
Michael received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 2020. He is experienced treating patients with a variety of conditions including but not limited to low back, neck hip, knee, foot, ankle shoulder, and elbow pain. He also has taken additional coursework for treatment of vestibular conditions and is a certified concussion specialist through ImPACT. He primarily utilizes a functional strengthening and mindfulness approach to therapy in order to get patients back to their desired activities as quickly as possible.
Joseph received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2022 from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. Joseph has had past clinical affiliations in several outpatient settings including general orthopedic, long term stroke rehab, return to sport, and worker’s compensation. He has a passion for treating chronic pain as well as golf related injuries. Joseph utilizes a variety of approaches to help individuals meet and exceed their long term goals in order to return to function. Joseph is ImPACT certified and trained to better treat concussions and concussion related impairments. He looks to continually gain experience with continuing education opportunities and live hands-on seminars to further his career and expand his reach.
Yolanda brings over 20 years of proven experience in Administrative and Managerial operations. She possesses a comprehensive background in patient care and brings a unique energy when interfacing with clients. Her commitment and dedication to the well-being of all patients is evident and shows immediately with her interaction at the first point of contact. Providing a positive and caring experience for patients and staff are her top priorities. Her genuine and friendly demeanor allows patients to open up and feel at ease to receive the best possible care at Specialized Physical Therapy. Yolanda has participated in 3 Tough Mudders, loves to swim (especially when she visits family in Hawaii!), does CrossFit and enjoys Buti Yoga. Currently she is pursuing her BS in Healthcare Administrations.
Jen is a mother to three girls and has been a runner her whole life. Jen is currently a Duathlon/Triathlon competitor. She received her BA from St. Peter's University and serves as a member of Jesus Bread of Life.
