We test your eyes, inner ear, and balance together.
Dizziness and imbalance almost always have a physical cause. A cause-first evaluation of your inner ear and balance system is how we find yours, and how we fix it.
What It Is
Spinning when you roll over in bed. Feeling unsteady in a grocery store aisle. Getting told it’s “just stress” or something you have to live with. Dizziness and imbalance usually trace back to your vestibular system: the inner ear and brain network that tells you which way is up.
One common cause is BPPV: tiny calcium crystals in your inner ear’s balance canals shift out of place and send your brain false signals about movement, triggering brief but intense spinning with certain positions. A cause-first evaluation, including a positional test with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, tells us if that’s what’s happening. If it is, a canalith repositioning maneuver guides those crystals back where they belong, often in the same visit.
For dizziness and imbalance that isn’t BPPV, we retrain the connection between your eyes, inner ear, and brain with gaze stabilization and habituation exercises, plus balance and gait work to rebuild your confidence on your feet. Our vestibular-trained therapy team brings years of experience treating vertigo, balance disorders, and post-concussion dizziness, as well as neurological balance conditions including stroke and TBI recovery.

What It Helps
If dizziness or unsteadiness has changed how you move through your day, there’s a good chance your balance system is the reason.
What A Session Looks Like
1
We test your eyes, inner ear, and balance together.
2
If it’s BPPV, we reposition the crystals right then.
3
We build your retraining exercises for home.
Why It Works
Finds the actual cause of your dizziness, not just a label.
Often repositions BPPV crystals in the same visit.
Retrains your eyes and balance system to work together again.
One-on-one with a licensed therapist trained in vestibular care.

Questions, Answered
No, and we hear this a lot. Most dizziness and vertigo have a specific, treatable cause in your inner ear or balance system. A cause-first evaluation with a licensed therapist trained in vestibular care usually finds it, and many people feel real relief after just one or two repositioning visits if BPPV is the cause.
Generic balance exercises treat every kind of dizziness the same way, and the wrong exercise for your specific cause can make you feel worse. Our evaluation identifies exactly which system is involved, whether it’s BPPV crystals, a vestibular hypofunction, or something neurological, and builds your exercises around that.
Vestibular therapy is billed as physical therapy, and most plans cover it the same way. We verify your exact benefits before your first session, so there’s no surprise on your bill. Questions before then? Call Cherry Hill at 856-424-0993 or Burlington at 609-880-0880.
