We test where your strength stands today.
Surgery repaired the ligament. Getting back to your sport is the part that takes a real plan: a structured, milestone-by-milestone progression from post-op to cleared for return, one earned step at a time.
What It Is
Surgery reconstructs the ligament. Your body still has to relearn how to trust that knee under load, and that takes structured work, not just time.
After ACL surgery, the muscles around your knee, especially the quad, often shut down as a protective reflex. ACL rehab rebuilds that strength in stages: swelling and motion first, then loading, then agility, then cutting and jumping.
You don’t move to the next stage because a calendar says so. You move because you’ve hit the strength and movement benchmarks that stage requires, tracked one-on-one with a licensed therapist who knows your surgery and your sport. Our therapy team includes a certified strength and conditioning specialist who focuses on getting athletes cleared to return.
Cleared by strength, not by the calendar
What It Helps
If your knee healed on paper but doesn’t feel like yours yet, this is where that gap closes.

Questions, Answered
Most ACL reconstructions need six to nine months of structured rehab before you’re cleared for sport. It depends on your graft and your sport’s demands. You move through phases based on strength and movement benchmarks, not a fixed calendar. You always know exactly where you stand.
Often within days of surgery, following your surgeon’s protocol. Early sessions focus on controlling swelling, restoring motion, and waking the quad back up. All well before any heavy loading begins.
We test strength symmetry between both legs, hop and landing mechanics, and sport-specific movement. Not just how much time has passed. You return when the numbers say you’re ready, not before.
